SCHOOLING IN USA

  • There are two oppotunities to join school during the year: August or January

  • To complete a year, you must complete 2 semesters

Admission

  • High school diploma

 

  • TOEFL
    TOEFL (Test Of English as a Foreign Language) is designed to evaluate
    your English skills. It is necessary for you if you wish to study at a
    university abroad, where English is the academic language (United States).
    The test lasts approximately four hours, you take it on computer and it measures your ability to understand written
    and spoken English, and knowledge of vocabulary and grammar you have acquired. The different areas are evaluated
    in the form of a multiple choice questions and essays.
    After the test, you get a score between 0 and 300. This score allows universities to have an idea of your ability
    to follow instruction in English, reading books to the program and write essays. The minimum level varies from
    one university to another.

 

  • SAT
    The SAT (Scholastic Assessment Test) is a test for a period of three hours. The purpose of this test is to evaluate
    your level of knowledge in English and mathematics, no matter where you from.

 

The degrees offered

  • ASSOCIATE (+2) > BACHELOR * (+4)
    > MASTER ** (+5) > DOCTORATE (+8)

* BACHELOR of ARTS (Humanities & Social Sciences)
* BACHELOR of SCIENCE (Science, Technology & Commerce)
** MBA (Master of Business Administration)

 

  • Students take general education required the first
    two years, Specialization is chosen at the beginning
    of the third year.

 

  • This leaves time to decide its direction and choice of career plans.

 

  • You must validate at least 5 subjects per semester (this represents
    15 hours per week) to get his Bachelor in four years.

 

Equivalencies

You will be able to resume your studies at the master level
when you return to your country. Your US degree allows
you to work in France and around the world. If you started
your studies in France, you have the ability to integrate
a Bachelor or Master program in the USA.
